I have tons of ideas. To have a traditional wedding with great elements of OSU you could do these things; A great scarlet red would be great for the bridesmaids dresses. The maid of honor could even have a slat grey bow around the waist or around the bouquet of flowers to show her status in the wedding. The groomsmen could do the tie the same way. Maybe the best man could have a red tie and the other grooms could have a great slate color tie. Of course the bride can have a white gown(it would of course fit in!) And your bouquet could consist of red roses, and on some of the red roses have a sparkle of sliver right on the tips to get a little bit of elegance and drama. The flower girl could be in a glamed up OSU cheerleader outfit, and ring barer could do a glamed up football outfit! For something fun and new. Decorations of course, all tying in with the Red, Slate, and White colors. The cake could be of course RED Velvet, Your wedding cake topper could be customized. I know a great website that you can get it done so that you do are wearing OSU Jerseys or something like that! And something Else that would be really different but fun and creative would be to have instead of just plain material to go down the isle you could walk down the 50 yard line instead. Those are some of my ideas. I hope they help! Have fun! And Happy Holidays!
P.S. here is the site for the customized wedding toppers www.hosstudio.com/wedding_cake_toppers.htm

Geez, as an OSU alum, I'm having a hard time trying to think of ways to use Ohio State in a wedding. Most of the stuff I think seems too cheesey for a wedding. Are you going to try to integrate football into your wedding? Will your wedding cake be shaped like the Shoe? I guess you could try to use scarlet and gray flower arrangements.
I'm sure this has been done before. Maybe you should try to get in touch with the OSU alumni association for more ideas.

Good luck. Go Bucks!

Maybe not make the ceremony themed, but the reception..get a huge sheet cake that has the Ohio State symbol on the top. Let everyone dress in Ohio State stuff serve "football" snacks, that sounds kinda fun!

Go to YANKEE TRADER on High Street in the Short North -- they have LOTS of decorations that can be used for an OSU wedding party. You could put the grrom in Scarlet and the Bride in Gray...

Use buckeyes for wedding favors. If in Ohio you can find them almost anywhere. You could also attach this recipe to the nuts for another cute favor:
