I posted a request to my Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ to pray for a child.I got a violation notice for solication and personal ad.Is it possible a human would not want a helpless child prayed for? Is it possible a living being has no heart beating inside them?
Is this not scary?

but i am with you 100 % .... this sort of thing makes me sick
that people find something wrong in someone wishing someone else well , that they feel a need to report it

Im really sorry to hear that.Really if you look around here you would find so many obscene,objectional and downright offensive questions splattered all over that people enjoy answering and asking.None of the askers or answerers seem bothered about the young children whose immature minds may get influenced by perverted material.
Plus there are so many individuals who post chatting invitations and personal information along with requests for persoanl ids numbers etc.
When most of these go unreported I dont see any point in people reporting your request,which wasnt for fun but a rather humane gesture.
And more than those who reported you Im surprised at the yahoo team for having sent you a violation notice.
I agree that yahoo answers is not a place for personal contact but many people are doing that here when they can easily use yahoo messenger,and are upto many things that violate the yahoo community guidelines,gaming for points being one of them...why not do something about them?

O MAN ! Thats terrible ! Ya know.....I have been sooooooo offended by the remarks made about God, and Jesus ! Blasphemy ! It scares me to even read some stuff on here..... The only unforgivable sin is blasphemy towards the Holy Spirit ! Man some of them if they haven't already, they are on the verge ! My brother is a Pilgrim Holiness pastor, and yes we are 'some-what' strick, BUT , I just cant believe the disrespect people show towards Christ ! Makes me MAD ! We are living in the end time.......When those people stand before God.....Man O Man !!!! ONLY satan has that kind of hate towards God, Jesus and we christians...Ya know it.......Thank You for taking a stand for Christ ! We may be killed some day for it, but I will ALWAYS take to His defense !!!! I am proud of you and I know Jesus is smiling down on you for taking a stand ! May God bless you for it !!!! I hate the thought of someone hurting Him over cruel blasphemy words spoke against Him !!! I will keep that child in my prayers ! NOW someone turn me in !!!! I dare you !!!

I'm really sad that happened. There have been many requests for prayer here and most of us are grateful for the chance to read them and add our prayers. Please feel that child has been and will be prayed for, the child's parents too. May God hold them, give them strength and comfort.

That was probably done by some atheist. How sad. I don't see how asking for prayers would be considered to be a violation of any kind. That is part of what is wrong with our society today. I will pray for your child even though I don't know what's wrong with him/her. Jesus knows and that's all that counts.

sadly, though many do profess to be "christians", not everyone is kind to their brethren. The person may be someone who is backslidden or has been grieved by others and their heart has grown cold for others. If it was on here, the person who may have reported the issue as that was probably not even a Christian and just cold hearted.
