dr told me to give nothing. not for vomiting, or diareah. Nothing for an hour, then one oz of clear fluid. increase ozs every 20 minutes to keep child from becoming dehydrated. No dairy, or spicey foods
BRAT DIET = Bannanas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast (plain).
as tolerated. Hopegully you wont need all this, because she wakes in the morning rested and good as new!
Good Luck

I know how you feel trust me!
My youngest daughter, 2, threw up last night and it has continued into today. The big problem is I have five other kids who evidently will catch it, so I am in for a rough couple of days.
I give them this diet, in this order, in these amounts:
For at least one hour after vomiting nothing, Nada, zip.
After 1 hour, tiny sips of ginger ale, sprite, 7-up, or water. about a teaspoon every 10 minutes.
If vomiting continues, repeat steps 1 and 2.
If no vomiting after 1 and 2, increase amount of liquids slowly over next hour or so.
If she throws up again, start over.
If not, try B.R.A.T. diet, Smalll amounts of either bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast plain.
Repeat from beginning if needed.
Be sure to give her liquids in smal amounts, only clear.
With my children, settling their tummies is not the big deal. But comforting them as they go through this yucky bug.
I let them watch movies, sleep in the bathroom, do what ever it takes to make them feel better physically and mentally.
I hope your little angel feels better soon! Mine too, but anyways, just follow the diet and it should help her feel better over time, don't rush it though because it can only make matters worse!
Good luck and I am sorry to hear that she is feeling down in the dumps!

i'm hoping your daughter is feeling greater suited by using now. My 5 year old son and husband constantly get abdomen viruses worse than my daughter and that i. Flat coke substitute into counseled by using numerous of the ER nurses the final time i substitute into there with my son. My husband additionally claims that it particularly is often the only subject he can shop down whilst he's ill. call your surgeon if she remains vomiting now or if she has diahrreah with vomiting. That mixture can immediately dehydrate a small newborn. Ginger is likewise meant to calm an disillusioned abdomen yet maximum ginger ales do no longer certainly incorporate any ginger in any respect.

Chinese food usually has MSG.
Reactions to MSG can reportedly occur up to 48 hours after ingestion. Vomiting is one related symptom. I recently experienced a sick headache with ringing ears from accidental MSG ingestion. It creates a deficiency of Taurine.
I suggest you read up on MSG at the following Web site,
1st reading > "Remedies",
then > "Body Systems Affected by MSG":
MSGTruth.org - homepage & index
http://www.msgtruth.org/
This is another Website reporting on MSG:
Chinese restaurant syndrome,
CRS, MSG allergy, MSG symptom complex

And these are about the safety of food in general:

Did you give your 2 year old chinese? If so maybe thats what made her be sick, babies tummys are smaller than ours and they dont really need to eat lots and lots maybe you should make the half hour before bed time chill out time where you sit together and read a story because if your baby eats, then plays around and goes to bed their tummy isnt settled causing them to be sick

Peppermint tea or ginger tea will both settle the stomach.
Hope she feels better and you all get some rest.

Do not let her lay down. Hold her up to sleep she could aspirate in her sleep and die.
