I too am heart broken...7 years ago this Christmas i got on my knee and proposed to a woman i wanted to marry. A year and a half later we broke it off to find that she cheated. Til this day i have never been the same,but i continue not to give up hope that my true love is out there for me to find. Everyday is a long and winding road and i will travel it until i am swept off my feet again! You will be alright just as i will. Don't worry, the pain eases as time goes on and you too will find someone that will take your breath away.

I understand how you feel, I am currently going through a heart break, but do you know what keeps me going?? God! He is my strength when I am weak. I don't know what you believe, but think about it this way, what ever is meant to happen, WILL happen. God has a plan for each and every one of us and cares about us deeply. He knows exactly what is going to happen, so everything will turn out okay in the end and will end as the way it is planned and is supposed to. Yes, it hurts right now, but don't worry, though "sorrow will last through the night, joy will come in the morning." Tomorrow is a brighter day and although the future of love seems bleak and gray, there is a light at the end. Just be patient and stay strong and continue to persevere. Remember how blessed you are to have the loved ones you have in your life and it also helps to help others. It helps you forget about your problems and focus on the needs of others, and in return, you are blessed! God bless you!! :)

Sounds cliche but works all the time - time heals all wounds. Although you won't feel like your heart will mend ever again, it will.

You know what Mimi, things will ba okay. Do you want to know why? Because you will make it that way. You will pick urself up, dust urself off, check ur look in the mirrior and tell urself, "I am the giant of my dreams, not the dwarf of my fears" You have the ability, and now the experience to make better choices. I know you can do it sweetheart.

Sometimes it's hard to imagine, but things do get better!!
Look for the positive in your life and focus on those things. Whatever it is that's hurting you now won't seem so important.
When I get angry or disappointed about something I ask myself "will this really matter in 5 years?"
