I've been asking my friends if he really likes me, they said yes, but I always feel like they are just lying to me to make me feel better. I'm too afraid to ask him myself because he is always with his friends.

i don't know if he really likes me
my friends tell me he does but sometimes i feel that they are lying just to make me feel better
around me, he acts really nice. he smiles and says hi to me and talks to me too and sometimes he flirts.....

I guess except if your friends are mind readers, then you would never know how he feels till YOU ASK HIM YOURSELF.
I know its not easy, especially if you are as shy as I used to be. But I've found out long ago that the sad truth is better than the sweetest "what-ifs".
Be courageous step right up and ask...

Even if you ask him you will never know for sure. A better indicator is his behavior around you. If you feel he really likes you then he probably does.

lol, no dont ask him and if you dont always trust ur friends trust me they did the same to me and got me all happy, but u should look for signs, if he stares at you alot, flirts, acts awaward or shy around you..

You need to take him aside when he isnt with his friends (or if he is, ask him if you can talk to him in private) and just ask him. You will never know for sure unless you ask him.
