I have been trying to conceive for months now. I am 34 years old and my periods have been pretty regular for YEARS. However, for the last several months I have gone from a 28 cycle to a 30-32 day cycle.

Me and my husband have been trying to have a baby for several months now and I JUST KNEW we had done it THIS TIME!

Well, I am now about 7 days late and took a pregnancy test and it came back a great big "NOT PREGNANT" result. :(

For the past week, I have been feeling very tired and a tad bit queazy after I eat. My breast are a tad bit sore and I have some MILD cramping from time to time as if I am fixing to start my period.

Is it possible that I tested too early and I could STILL be pregnant even though the test says I am not?

Anyone had any experiences that ended up being pregnant after being a week late that tested negative?

Actually it's quite common to get a negative and still be pregnant...its also possible to have your period and still be pregnant. I kind of know how you feel. I just went thru the same sort of thing last weekend. I was a week and a half late but my test still said negative.....then just before I went out I finally started. I was so disappointed that I ended up drinking a little too much and now I regret it because I wonder if I could have still been pregnant. :( I wish you all the best!!!!! Your best bet is to go to the hospital and have them test you...there test is more definitive anyway. again good luck!! and Merry Christmas!!!!

I used to be like you. I was 1 week late and made a test using testpack, and it was negative. I feel like usual, no morning sick, no vain, nothing's changed to my body. But my breast felt hurt when touched and i got stomachace, like the sign when my periodic begin. But, a friend suggested me to try another expensive testpack at the very morning (around 5.00 AM), before you eat or drink s'thing. I tested, and it is positive. And i went to doctor, and it was true, i was pregnant. Starting on that day, I never worked too hard, try to exhale my mind, and so on. And now my baby has already born, and she is 9 mths.

Lots of people have done. Wait a spell and take another test but sometimes they are wrong several times in a row so eventually go to the doctor

even a negative pregnancy test can be wrong, especially after only a week. if you are sure and are tired of waiting, go to the dr.s office and get a blood test done, they are faster and more accurate and can tell you like within three days after your missed period if you are pregnant. good luck!

I would wait a week and if still no sign have another pregancy test done and for best results do it in the morning as soon as you wake up. Good luck hope its positive :)
