You may find it overpowering to have red bricks all around the room and it might be nicer to leave one wall bricks and then contrast remaining walls with wallpaper. That way you have a focal point. Also, all bricks could make your room look smaller. Not sure the dining room would benefit from a brick decorated wall but the living room could really work well especially if you use the fireplace wall as the highpoint.

Red bricks definately.

If you wallpaper, you are making loads of work for yourself as you would have to plaster/plasterboard over the bricks first.

If you have wooden floors, the brick will look great,

I think it depends on the light in the room. The bricks wouldn't work in my house, because it is so dark. Otherwise, it is your taste, your dining room, express your own personality!
