That depends upon your gender and height. A female at 5' tall is ideal at about 105 pounds. For each additional inch, add about 5 to 7 pounds. At 7 pounds an inch, if you are female and about 5'9" tall a weight of 165 is not excessive. BMI is another indicator. I am male, 5'10" and 140 pounds which gives me a delightfully healthy BMI of 19, even though I tend to appear a tad scrawny. I feel great though, and sure can pack the donuts away, so it seems my weight is great for me.

Depends on how tall you are and if your male or female also. Just remember that muscles are heavier than fats. So depends on how much muscles you have as well. Sometimes it's not just the weight that counts. You'd have to ask yourself, how healthy a lifestyle are you living?

Like someone else said, your question leaves out one key factor, which is: Your height. Also, unless I missed something, we don't know if you're male or female.
BMI (Body Mass Index) directly correlates height to optimal weight parameters.
So, if you're 4' 5" and 165 lbs (for example), that's not so good.

It depends. Look at yourself. You can have a high BMI but if you are a body builder then you are still healthy. It is useful to give your height when asking such a question.
