Do you belive that god exists by fact more than the Spaghetti Monster?

Andrew C says, "Nobody that I know of has ever ventured a belief in said monster, and there is no evidence that it exists. This is just a way to avoid the real issue of God, who you KNOW exists whether you like it or not!!! Hmmmmmmm, so what he is saying here is that there is no evidence that the Spaghetti Monster exists, but that there is evidence that god exists. Do you believe god exists more than the Spaghetti Monster?

Yes, and his logic falls in here:

14. ARGUMENT FROM INTELLIGENCE
(1) Look, there's really no point in me trying to explain the whole thing to you stupid Atheists — it's too complicated for you to understand. God exists whether you like it or not.
(2) Therefore, God exists.

Very nice. You say that those who do not believe your argument don't believe it because they are too stupid.

Where is your proof that god exists? Let's pretend I have a story about the earth and the universe just like yours except in place of god there is a green goblin. Instead of heaven there is a shack in a mystical forest(yeah it's big). Why is your story more believable than mine? The only thing you have to back your beliefs up is 1. old texts and 2. beliefs and others who also believe it. Is that enough proof for you?

What if I told you that there are other texts and beliefs, also with long histories and millions of believers, but these other beliefs are completely at odds with your beliefs. They do not contain jesus, or your god, or heaven, or the apostles or whatever else (I'm sure at this point you may jump up with AHA but some other religions are similar and yes you are correct but forget those, that means nothing in this argument).

So you believe that for reasons 1 and 2 your beliefs in religion are true. Why, then, are OTHER religions which are very different from your own NOT true? They have JUST as much evidence towards their truth as yours does!

I'll answer you. You have no real reasons to say why your religion reflects reality accurately and theirs do not. There is just as much reason to believe in something like, for example, buddhism. The problem for you believers is that these religions with just as much reason for their belief can't all be true.

I'm fairly sure that there will be no strongly logical responses from religious people on this answer. I bet there will be emotionally driven attacks on me for my beliefs, which were given because someone asked. Why? because religion is about emotion, and CERTAINLY NOT about fact.

If our existence is improbable so much so that a supreme being had to create us, then I say that the creation of a supreme being is that much more improbable.
