It's not common, but certainly not unheard of.

Many CT scans are done with a "contrast agent" -- something injected into your bloodstream to make the organ of interest more visible. A very common contrast agent is iodine, to which an allergic reaction is not extremely rare.

Not common- very rare- there are different tracers - depending on what and where they are looking-D
