The simplest answer to this question is the north pole. The other solutions are all in Antarctica. Start approximately 1.16 miles north of the south pole, and walk south for one mile. You are now about 1/6 of a mile from the south pole. As you walk east, you trace an exact circle around the south pole, returning to your original longitude. Walk north a mile and you're back where you started from. If you move a little closer to the south pole, your eastward trek takes you twice around the south pole. A solution exists for every positive integer n. Your starting location is 1 + 1/(2×pi×n) miles north of the south pole.

You are at the North Pole. The South Pole is incorrect because if you're at the South Pole, you cannot go further south, so you would be walking north.
