i know what you are going through. when i was in school, i was a 32. now, i am a 58. but... less than a year ago, i was up to a 64. one of the things that helped me was when my wife had our son. the other... and not something i would reccomend.... is poverty. if you don't have the money, you just can't buy all that delicious food!!

Two things:

1. You can eat less by avoiding eating while watching television and other distracting stuff. You can eat slower, and thus let your brain catch up with your stomach, by taking one bite, putting down your fork and taking a drink of water, then picking up your fork and taking another. After awhile, you'll find you don't need to do that... but water's good for filling you up calorie-free, as long as there's a bathroom nearby.

2. What's the real reason you're overeating? Some folks eat because they love food (guilty), some folks eat because they're bored, and some folks eat for emotional satisfaction. I did the latter once, because I was dating a girl who didn't kiss very well. I'd find myself munching whenever she'd go home (always the night of... oy). I lost three pounds when I cut her loose.

Hopefully a little self-examination will help you a lot. If not, there's always liposuction. But a jump rope's cheaper...

You will have to be determined to loose weight or maintain weight. You will have to check your body mass Index (BMI) and decide how much excess weight you have gain and how much you will have to loose toget the ideal weight.Accordingly you will have to chalk out a programme of diet and exercise.
