They have total faith in the Doctor although he/she is just a human. Some doctors are guilty of that complex.

Because parents care for and worry about their child, It does seem logical and rational and perhaps a little idealistic to beleive that whatever the doctor says must be right, he/she is the educated one, and that is why you go to see him or her. I do beleive in a parents instincts to though, and plead with any parent who is not happy with what their doctor says to get a second opinion. Doctors are only human, so yes personal beleifs, values, morals etc can interfere. It would be a tough job, I take my hat off to anyone who studies and works to help others. The pressure and stress and emotion of a job like that would be incredible.

I dont know? But it drives me nuts! Dr's dont know everything... and people act like their words are as strong as gods. Some People could be bleeding to death and The Dr says their fine so they say Duh Ok & Beleive them.

Not Me... if my gut says somethings wrong I will insist on proper testing, ect. We pay the Dr. right... they work for us!

Also I dont trust Dr's cuz their is 1 practicing in this area who is know to molest girls & rape but no one ever has enough proof & hes rich enough to get out of it everytime!

Well, it's better than the people who have "I read about this treatment on the internet, so it's got to be good for me" syndrome. Especially when they go about doing alternative medicine on themselves and wind up dead. Well, then it's just Darwinism!

I often wonder why some people think doctors are idiots? Why would you trust someone without education over someone with education in a field that is so complex?
