I'm sorry for your loss. You can never replace anyone you've lost so don't even try to do that. Don't date until you are ready. It doesn't really matter what anyone says, no matter what their intentions are. When you're ready, you'll meet someone and go out. Until then, take your time and let yourself heal.

I don't think you'll be able to replace a special person such as your partner in life, and if you feel that you are not ready to star dating others then you shouldn't, however as you know ''life goes on " and probably after some time, you may want to see other people, it is not a good idea to live life alone.

you cant replace some one that meant everything to you. im am so sorry for your loss! this takes alot of time to adjust to! dont start dating if you are going to be thinking about him all the time, and are apprehensive about it. it takes time. dont be scared. who knows.. you might find someone who helps you forget and you feel good with.... but dont rush things if you dont want to. this is YOUR CHOICE, NOT ANYONE ELSES. good luck!

You are not replacing him; and you never will.

But you must go on with your life.

If he really loved you, then he would not want you to live out your life pining over him.

He really would rather you find a new happiness.

Good luck!
