Since there was no time when there was only God, speaking of stages makes no sense. When you have only one thing and nothing to compare it too, then time makes no sense.

If God is both immanent and transcendent, all that exists in physical form would be his physical body or expression. That would make us be similar to a cell within his body in which case he experiences through us and through all that is. If all that exists is of God we can only surmise that all experience is of God. This gives credence to the theories on collective consciousness and a host of other theories that touch upon parts of a whole. If everything is changing and evolving, how could it be that God is not changing and evolving if all that exists is made in his reflection or of his energy?

Hehe your concept of god is different then mine. God is the expanse of consciousness we all share. Each of us accesses a small part of it and drapes the idea of god on the perimeter to sooth the mind to the idea that the world is greater then we could ever realize. So God is always evolving just like consciousness always is. But god doesn't have to find potential god is potential. Reality is beyond the mind and therefore beyond god.

The Gods of other Religions went through different stages of growth. Birth, childhood, teenager, manhood.
SO the Jewsish/ Christian Bible gives the same stages to their idea of God . As shown in the O.T.

You are thinking of God as if He was a man.....
God was not created... He always was.....
We are created for time sake..... we had an appointed time to be here and an "expiration date" unknown to us......
when that time has expired upon us... we return to where we came from......
*****I have to agree with Adam on this.....!!!!
