It's a filler and should not be used in dog foods as dogs can not digest corn properly....it's cheap *** pet food companies useing cheap fillers instead of meat.

If your dog were in the wild it would not eat corn.

I use corn gluten meal on my garden to keep weeds from sprouting.

Iams pet food website says "Corn gluten meal is not as digestible as high-quality animal protein ingredients and is deficient in the essential amino acids lysine and tryptophan"

any thing with corn in it is bad for dogs skin it causes dandruff but it is good the first ingredent is chicken
