He said call me so we can hang out again. Is this the new thing now? You have to call guys? They don't want to call you after a first date?

He said call me when you figure out your schedule so we can hang out again. So I said you do? He said I don't mind hanging out again. What is this the new thing now? You have to call guys after the first date now?

It's equal anymore. There's no rule for the man to be the one to call the woman anymore. Sorry~

Maybe you should have asked him that while you were still in the moment. If this isn't the way you want to be treated by a guy, then let him know right off the bat where your boundaries are.

In this case the only way I can see you handling it so you emerge with your dignity is that you never call him.
If he comes looking around for you later & asks why you didn't call him, then you can say with pride that plenty of guys call you, so you aren't about set a precedent with him.

He'll get used to it if he wants to "hang out again" with you!

Be strong & get what you want!

I think by having you call him is a way to measure whether you are interested in him or not since most likely if you aren't, his phone probably doesn't ring.

When you let a guy call you for a second date, some girls have a problem saying no and go on a date with the guy anyway, but end up not interested. By doing this, it's kinda safe you both time and heartache.

I think it means that you both seemed to get along on the first date and like you said, the guys used to call the girls but now, i think he wants you to call him because he wants more of you and is curious if u are wanting more out of him. i guess just a way to let u know hes interested but not willing to be traditonal he wants you to be forward and agressive about things. maybe thats what he wants in a woman

You seem disenchanted over somebody you "weren't blown away with." possibly he wasn't blown away with you the two. not sure your age, yet, after a regular date you comprehend. there's a undeniable outstanding feeling you have on your gut. you're excited. you comprehend that feeling and in keeping with possibility he wasn't feeling it the two. adult adult males are extra apt to no longer waste their time on 2d and 0.33 dates. For what? If it did no longer take place on the 1st date, it certainly won't take place on the 2d or 0.33. (you are able to desire to the two have various time on your palms, do no longer pass out lots, or are basically bored and prefer a clean chum.) If that doesn't help, then my only different advice is to call him and ask him out for yet another date. you probably did say he replaced into from England, possibly that's how they end dates in England. i think of the rejection has you puzzled. possibly he basically wansn't feeling you! era! pass forward....

ya and i bet all the girls on here that are saying guys should call girls first and make the first move, would be up yellin and screamin if the minimum wage for girls was lower than it was for guys. or if guys had more rights. yet when it comes to yall havin something that yall dont want.... look what happens. you all want to hand that right back and be "traditional". traditionally yall cant even vote. if you want equality, fine you'll get it. if you dont fine. but you dont get to pick the best out of the group and leave the rest.

Sounds to me he was not too sure about the date. There is nothing wrong with girls calling guys, but I would rather be the one on the initiative.

it means he wants you to call him. If you want to hang out again call. If you don't want to then don't. It doesn't have to be a complicated mind game.

Totally agree. He should call YOU if he wants to go out again. He's just trying to not look like an idiot if you decide you don't want to see him or he's trying to take the pressure off himself.

I believe he is saying that he enjoyed your company and wants you to reach out so he will have an idea on how you feel. You could say something like OK, heres my number so you may call me too! It is possible that he want's to blow you off and check his caller ID and not answer though.
