remaining a virgin until you marry establishes your marriage on sound footing of trust. your husband knows he can trust you because you have self-discipline and love of righteousness. no man you marry will be disappointed when you tell him you loved him enough before you ever even met him to have saved yourself for him. you have my respect and congratulations if you choose to be a virgin until you are married and hold out for a man who loves you enough to do the same. so remain steadfast and never waiver.

There is a lot of pressure out there, but i think that if you are able to wait and not cave into the pressure, You Are A Very Strong Individual. Society is in such a hurry to grow up that, nobody cares about old fashion values, which are safe, and if everyone was as strong as you, than maybe there wouldn't be so many STD'S out there.
You're a role model in some people's eyes, and thank goodness.

i don't believe society sees it as abnormal at all. I think the media has protrayed images of some celebs with not such good morals and people may buy into some of that crapola but I don't think that is the way society thinks or believes as a whole. At least not the part of the country I live in

actually you are part of a growing trend
though still small in number it is a movement that is gaining ground due to the increase in STDs , cheating ect...
it's a good thing
but the problem you will face is finding the right guy
and there where you set of morals and values MUST meet his
so you must not fall for the pretty guy you may end up seeing or the bad boy
that will be the only way ( so in all likely hood you future husband will be a Christian man and not a secular one and one that has NEVER been married and himself a virgin ).
good luck

It's not viewed as abnormal...just rare. This is a sexual society and it's socially acceptable to have sex before marriage. If it's something you don't want to do, don't worry about what others think. It's your life and you have to live with your choices.

YAY! I'm glad you believe that cuz I do too! People give all sorts of excuses to share their bodies with everyone else cuz "it feels right" or "it's my body, I'll do what I want with it" or "today is different and more people are doing it" etc. Well, does that make it morally right? It's all sinful...we are supposed to save our bodies for our future spouses. It's for our own good, too! See what happens when people unleash their lusts and desires all the time continuously? It messes them up for life!!! It's anything but selfish, too! In fact, it's just about the greatest thing you could ever give to your husband: an untouched girl who has saved it for one person and one person only - himself! And he can have all of it forever!!! I could ramble on for hours about this, but I won't cuz you'll get bored reading it. Thanks for posting this!

Well society views it as abnormal because before you get married, you should make sure you are sexually compatible. If you get married and you have awful sex, and it never gets good, it will hurt your relationship. I think nowadays, the whole "saving yourself" thing is a really bad idea. Because sex is an important thing in a relationship.

if everone in the world lived by the bible, then everyone would know that marriage comes before sex. but sadly enough, alot of people have not even opened a Bible. You keep Gods commandments and worrie about what he thinks of you because he is the one person that every one person on this earth will someday kneel in front of and confess all that was done wrong in their lives. i respect you for the choice you have made for yourself and wish alot of others felt the way you and i do.
