Excellent question, one you should not expect a satisfactory answer from Muslims. For some reason Muslims like to zero in on Paul saying that he had placed words in Jesus's mouth, even when Jesus's own apostles were teaching the same teaching that Jesus gave them and Paul took pains to understand so that he remained in unity with them.

Jesus Himself indicts Mohammad and his like for perverting His teaching passed onto his apostles.

Luke 10:16 "He who listens to YOU listens to me; he who rejects you rejects me; but he who rejects me rejects HIM who sent me."
(Paul was nowhere in the picture at his time when Jesus told this to His disciples)

The aim of Satan is to foster confusion, unfortunately in this age, it is even easier. To make Jesus's apostles insignificant or "dumb" is a Muslim ruse in order to say that Christianity came from Paul, a ruse also used by JWs, which common sense and history show to be false. Paul influenced Europe but the original apostles of Jesus went into many lands preaching Christ. Indeed even Peter was martyred at Rome as was Paul.
A even more damning common sense indictment of this false Muslim belief is that if Paul was teaching a new religion, why was it centered around Jesus and not himself as the creator of this religion and why did he die for Jesus like Peter did ? Again, don't expect to get any sensible answers.
Amber Marie has an excellent point : it was the aim of 2nd and 3rd century Gnostics to appropriate Christianity into their largely pagan beliefs that they said what the Muslims are saying and the New Agers are saying today about Christ, in even more confused terms and unable to agree among themselves. You will find something common among these three - none of these consider their beliefs something they cannot jettison (atleast for a while) when under pain of death or loss of freedom. The Islamic religion as does the Gnostics does not know what happened to Christ - in one case saying he escaped crucifixion and Judas was crucified after gaining his likeness, allah resorting to chicanery and mass deception after saying in Surah 3:54 "When Allah said: 'O Jesus, I will cause thee to die and exalt thee in My presence and clear thee of those who disbelieve..." .

Majeed, you misunderstand Christianity. And FYI, that develop right into a movie, no individual is acquainted with the way it went precisely, in effortless words that Peter denied understanding Him 3 cases. Christians believe some diverse issues about Jesus than Muslims do. i do not care to argue about who's good, yet merely so that you already know: Jesus taught us as an example the different cheek. That we could continuously no longer grant resistance to violence. He taught that he got here to sacrifice Himself for our income, that we too may enter heaven. for this reason, the Apostles staring at what develop into taking position would have had to leap into the fray, yet did not. Why? because it develop into Jesus' favor to fulfill the prophecy and be martyrd. So the confined themselves and allowed that which they did not opt for to come back to bypass to ensue. The Prophet Mohamed (pbuh) fought wars, and so on., inclusive of his buddies. Jesus and His buddies walked round speaking about loving the enemy and the meek inheriting the earth. that is a very diverse outlook, so that you may keep that in ideas at the same time as reviewing Christian books and videos.

The true followers of Jesus, who heard his teachings and accepted them and helped him, they are righteous men without doubt. As far as specific individuals who are now imagined to be the "apostles" of Jesus, that would be a more complex issue. The NT books said to be written by Paul differ from the teachings of Jesus, perhaps with the aim of establishing a new religion.

"But when Jesus became conscious of their disbelief, he cried: Who will be my helpers in the cause of Allah? The disciples said: We will be Allah's helpers. We believe in Allah, and bear thou witness that we have surrendered"

There is a valid difference of opinion on the matter. We know that the gospels were corrupted over time (look at how Jesus' (pbuh) last words were 4 different things, one for each gospel). Whether early church leaders altered his teachings, or his followers decided to make their own changes, we don't know. God will be the judge of them.

we believed that Jesus had trusted fellows who followed him and supported him, but the Bible of God has only revealed to Jesus and no one has the right to add anything inside the Bible or even change the words from it.

[52] Then when 'Isâ (Jesus) came to know of their disbelief, he said: "Who will be my helpers in Allâh's Cause?" Al-Hawâriûn (the disciples) said: "We are the helpers of Allâh; we believe in Allâh, and bear witness that we are Muslims (i.e. we submit to Allâh)."

We believe in them

THESE ARE PASSAGES FROM THE HOLY QURAN:

[5.112] When the disciples said: O Jesus son of Mary! will your Lord consent to send down to us food from heaven? He said: Be careful of (your duty to) God if you are believers.

[3.52] But when Jesus perceived unbelief on their part, he said Who will be my helpers in God's way? The disciples said: We are helpers (in the way) of God: We believe in God and bear witness that we are submitting ones.
