My boyfriend (for the last 3 months) keeps talking about his old gf who was older then him. He keeps talking about how they would always go on dates and how they would always holding hands. I think he is trying to make me jealous but I don't know why. So I told him about my old bf (who is going out with his old gf) and I know I made him jealous but I didn't accomplish anything. All I want to know is why he keep bragging; is he trying to make me jealous or trying to break up with me. Im getting realy sick of this and I want 2 break up with him but not before I know why he's doing this. Plus I spent months trying to get with this guy because he is really hot and there are tons of girls waiting in line for him.

Both of you need to grow up a little and stop playing games with each other as you will most assuredly doom your future by keeping up with this behaviour. He shouldn't be discussing his past relationships with you, especially if he knows it bothers you. On the other hand, you seem to feel threatened by this, and that is just plain silly. In my opinion, it might be time to take an inventory as to what you really have in this relationship, as this is destructive and not conducive to a lasting and loving time together.

Why do women individuals attempt to make adult adult males jealous? Whats with the somewhat wide-unfold questions? somewhat, if a guy is making an attempt to make you jealous extra suitable than probably you probably did some thing that harm him and he's immature so he's making an attempt to come again at you. Getting revenge helps them recover from the heartbreak i assume. in basic terms like each thing else in relationships however, this one is going the two procedures.

Did he know you had spent months trying to get with him? Does he know he is hot?
If the answers for above Qs are yes and yes, then I think he is all about himself. This dude needs to get over himself. I don't think he really appreciates you enough. It's childish and rude to brag about ex to the current. Maybe you should ask him next time when he brags that if those chicks were so good, why breaking up with them then. I suspect those 'chicks' were the ones who broke up with him for obvious reason.

I think you should just ask HIM why. All you and the rest of us can do is speculate. To get to the root of the issue you need to be mature about it. Tell him that you dont appreciate all the talk of his ex, you feel like he is trying to make you jealous. he will probably explain him self and you guys can move forward.

Just break up with him and tell him that he shouldn't talk about his exes if he wants to keep a woman. It's the least you can do. There are plenty of other men in the sea.

sounds like he still has feelings for his old gf. I dont think he's trying to make you jealous. If he wanted to break up with you and really has tons of girls after him like you said, he would just break up with you, right? not try to get you to break up with him. ummm...i would move on if i were you.

Ask him to stop. He's making you feel bad. Ask him if he wants to go on a date like that with you. Then, make sure you do it better than her. Be extra nice to him instead of just friendly, but no "special gifts" no sex. He'll have to wait for that. Guys need a chase, but not an impossible one.
