Price of meat gonna rise because the meat packing planets gonna have to raise wages to find, or they will go to Mexico to cut meat instead becaues wages are even lower. Canadian and Austrailain abs pay 12 to 20 an hour.
They used to pay 18 in Minnesota than the migrants came up and did it for 9 to 10 an hour, but that made steaks, roasts, tenderlions cheaper at the store.
Be careful this INS busting could backfire on the comsumer, and worker. Shift will likely offshore this production to Mexico if we keep this up becausee taxes are lower, and wages too.
Also, just hurt the American worker too with higher prices, and the person working in the factory may of been freinds with the Mexican migrants may not be too happy losing some coworkers also.
Screw, workers, Childern, taxpayers hiring illegals yes, but you also screw over family and communties too.
If there jobs lost to Mexico in the food processing this example will show why long term.

Yes its sad, but they were here illegally, they shouldn't have been working at all. They decided to break the at least two laws, one to come into or stay here illegally, and second to take a job here with out the proper visas. And maybe a third, providing false documentation.
If you were in Mexico doing the same thing, you would be in JAIL for a year or more, then sent back and that's if you're lucky. After that you can NEVER become a Mexican citizen.
I'm all for LEGAL immigration, but I want people here who will follow the rules. I don't want someone who has already shown that they don't respect the laws of this country.
Yes I know how long it can take to come into the US legally, it took my co-worker almost 5 years to bring his WIFE into the country. He lived outside the country for a while and really didn't intend on come back, but he got offered enough money to change his mind.
So is it sad, yes, but if they would have followed the rules it wouldn't have happen. So they have no-one to blame but themselves.

Awww! Those poor immigrants and their families!!
If your an American and that's how you feel--then you need to rethink your priorities. You feeling sad is offenseful to me as my love of animal products is to you!! I don't care what lifestyles those people enjoyed/acquired consider the illegal actions it took to get them there. Do you have sypathy for the drug dealer that got his property forfeited? I didn't think so. I may not be in the meat industry, but I know damn well that I'd rather see and American making a decent wage doing that type of work over an illegal that must accept whatever they can get due to the circumstances.

Yup.. it's true.. Im not quite sure and wouldn't go as far as to generalize the entire slaughter house workforce to be composed of 'illegal aliens', (because that would be ignorant) but I will tell you one thing. Fast Food Nation is a very bias book, very informative, but very exaggerated and very very one sided.

they are NOT immigrants! They ARE illegal aliens.
They are taking jobs there for lower pay and sending the money "home". Ones that American citizens once had to support THEIR families.
Illegal. Get it?
