Go with Frankie's message. It's definitely better to have loved. The good times far outweigh the bad.

If you loved and lost- at least that means you got out of love alive.
And now you know what you were missing- a bunch of emotional pain, self-delusion and wildly unrealistic expectations.

To someone who has yet to experience love, they are still putting it on a pedestal as this perfect, miraculous thing, to be sought above all else.
The longer this fantasy goes on, the worse it's going to be when they finally rush into the first opportunity for a serious relationship that presents itself.
They may never realize what a crock of horseshit love actually is until they are married with two kids.

So, if you've loved and lost, you've been spared that fate.

A life without love is a life not worth living. Whilst you might think you're saving yourself from getting hurt, you're merely closing yourself off from a world of wonderful possibilities. Whilst things might not always work out, learn from the experience so you don't repeat the same mistakes next time.

love & lose. The experience of being in love is unimaginable if you have never had it at all. Yeah, it hurts to lose it but you gain experiences.

Someone argue yes, some would argue no.

I believe it has to do with whatever your life experience is.

After all, if you have loved someone , and for some reason it did not last, it would not necessarily be bad in some respects.
