If I were doing a "Year in Review" of those who should shut the hell up Madden wouldn't make the top 50. It is a GAME.
The ones I would most like to see shut up are not sports figures, they are sinfully lobbied and owned, so called
Representatives.
My personal list would go as follows:
1. Rove
2. Rummy
3. Chaney
4. Bush
5. Wolfawitz
6. Barbara Bush
7. Barney Bush
8. McCain
9. Hillary
10. Tucker Carlson
11.Bill O'Riley
The only penalty calls I give a rodent's backside about are the ones that punish the people who led us like stupid sheep in to this abismally stupid war.
Brave men and women are dying daily for not one good reason.
Excuse me, but screw sports. These kids need our support, now more than ever.
I don't now, nor am I ever likely to care overmuch about some football coach getting pushy. Vat Else is New????
Our best and brightest are daily casualties of a war that is bankrupting the Nation, dessimating the military and demoralizing and terrorizing the Country.

Norton N, this question has nothing to do with the war. Also, he is a commentator not a coach. But since you put it that way, I think it's people like you who openly critcize the war that gives the insurgents and terrorists more motivation to do their deeds because they see weakness.
Anyways, I am not going to comment on the war anymore. As for Madden, he should be fired because he does a poor job. He never shuts up and always points out the obvious.
