I am planning to get the Umblical Hernia in India. I have been tired of trying to get it in the NHS. The cost is supposed to be very low in India and I have heard the Hospitals are good.

Many patients travel from UK, Ireland, and Scotland to get low cost Umblical Hernia in India. One of the most frequently asked questions when considering Umblical Hernia is the price of surgery in India.

But you should consider some other factors as well such as: ---

a) Check whether after the Umblical Hernia you will stay in the hospital or be discharged and taken to a hotel; ask about special care or assistance after the Umblical Hernia and about contingency plans in case of complications during the procedure or recovery time.

b) Do they recommend having a close friend or family member travel with you to provide support for Umblical Hernia In India.

c) Find out when the India’s high season is so that you can avoid exorbitant flight prices and enjoy more moderate weather.

d) Read up on local costs, the prices of meals, transport and hotels, how easy is it to travel around and whether it is considered safe to do so

The reasons for choosing to travel abroad for Umblical Hernia are different for everyone but with lengthy NHS waits and concerns about MRSA advantage of affordable, high quality private healthcare in India, and combining it with a tropical, cultural or relaxing holiday saving thousands of pounds compared with having the treatment done privately in the UK.

I checked out the website of Forerunners Healthcare – which is the premier most medical tourism company in India offering Umblical Hernia in India to International Patients. They have served more than 400 International patients from across the globe (especially US and UK) to get low cost affordable surgery in India at the best Hospitals and Medical Institutions. I think this could be of help for you as well.

Small hernia, about an inch or so would be low risk and might be fine in India.
Much larger hernias get more difficult to repair.
Size can get up to 1 foot in diameter. Fix a big one like that at home.

I'm a nurse. I would shop around here first, if you have tried, then go for it if you feel that is your only option. Make sure they are well equipped with the same modern methods we have here in the US. If they don't then stay here, this is your life your'e talking about and you deserve the best. You are worth it. Don't settle for anything less than that. Take Care and I'll say a prayer for you tonight regarding this.

Hernia repair is not really that big of a deal...I guess I wouldn't go anywhere accept closest to you...It really shouldn't be that expensive. (well, no more than any surgury is) It only takes like 10-20 minutes....recovery is a breeze. Biggest concern is infection.
