Great place! I live in Brisbane now but I grew up in Coffs Harbour, (actually a little town just out from it called Woolgoolga) I only moved because I fell in love with my now husband and he works here!
Great nightlife, friendly people and all round a perfect place.
I lived for a while also in Korora about 5klms north of Coffs and my house was exactly 1klm to the ocean and also 1klm to the rain forest. Not many places like that in the world...
I'm going down next week to Coffs for a holiday and cant wait!!

Coffs is a very nice area. My brother-in-law and his family have lived there for better than 20 years. We have visited a few times and have really enjoyed the area. They have great scenic areas, shopping, restaurants, and such. The cost of living is a little high due to the cost of housing but is otherwise pretty comparable to other Aussie cities.

sure it is beautiful part of the northern new south wales not sure what the goe is with jobs and realestate perhaps check out the tourism coffs coast website you whould get heaps of useful data from there.

I have visited a few times and I quite like it. Not sure about the cost of living though. Also not sure what broadband internet services may exist there.
