Is this a hypothetical??? Its pretty tragic that you would even think of such a thing to ask. No one can truthfully answer this question as you would need to be faced with the situation. You would most likely react much differenty that you expect.

I found it painful enough to lose my step father whilst on my honeymoon, i couldn't even begin to imagine losing my man on our wedding day.

its a wierd question, but your reaction will be as everyone who loses a person that loves, youll cry for days, get into a depression, and decide never to get married again but as days pass ull change ur mind, start seeing life beautiful again, coz finally "life goes on" it wont stop if we lose someone we love! and get married again! maybe you find someone whom youll love much more then u loved ur fiancee that died on ur wedding day.

In our part of the world we wait for one year to find another partner if one dies before wedding.

If one dies on wedding day, the other have to wait as much as he/she want.

seeitmiway32, this happened in Queens recently! A black man was shot and killed by police the morning of his wedding. His Fiance changed her last name. If that happened to me I would be sooo upset, I don't know what I would do!

Well you sure can't marry him now. I would just go on with my life, he would want you to. He would if it happened to him. Just save your dress for later, I am sure another nice young man will come along after you are done grieving. Why are you even asking this? I would think you would know it in your heart without asking it on here. It makes me think you shouldn't be getting married now anyway.
