Forget him. You can always find qualified ballroom dancing teachers anywhere. Why do you have to stick with him?

Maybe he is just a little busy. I have a 3 month old daughter and I know for a fact that sometimes you can forget about things that you honestly do intend on doing but just simply forget or other things come up that you have to do at that very moment come up and you don't get around to your origional plans. If I were you I would try for one more week and if that doesn't work out then you can pretty much assume he doesn't have the heart to tell you he is not really that abosorbed in giving you lessons.

well, one thing i'll say is that he ain't a gentleman..im sorry that one of us has done that to u.. there might be a few reasons i can think of:
1. He's tryin to be nice.. (but i don't think that keeping a girl waiting is a nice thing to do..)
2. He likes you a little and wants to 'fetch' you n see how far u'd go to contact him.. maybe he wants to be 'wanted' or 'needed' by u..
3. He sincerely wants to teach u, but he's a really busy guy..(but if he acts likes this, it looks like he doesn't seem to know his own limits...)
if u ask me, i'll suggest a few possible ways:
1. You tell him nicely to do u a favor..since he's very busy, ask HIM to LET YOU KNOW when he's free..
2. You just stop calling him.. if he doesn't ask, then it means he doesn't care.. if he asks, then you say that you're looking for other activities..trying out other stuff.. if he then insists on teaching you, then u must do No. 1. make sure HE's the one tryin to find u..(since he's the one who insists..)
If u really still wanna learn ballroom dancin, u can find someone else right?..well, i hope..
or maybe u can try somethin different altogether, like cycling or handicrafts..keep ur mind of ballroom dancin for a while..
anyway, everythin's jus a suggestion.. decision's all yours..
(wish i could ballroom dance...or hiphop..)

It just might be that he wants to give you lessons but he is too busy. Find someone else to give you lessons and leave the ball in his court. If he asks why you hadn't called him to see about lessons tell him that you felt like you were being a burden.

Well, maybe he really is very busy. However, I would suggest that you give him YOUR number and ask him to PLEASE give you a call when is free to give you lessons. You can then call him at the end of each week to remind him that you still want lessons. That calling EVERYDAY sounds a bit much.

Like you said and the old saying says, that actions speak much more powerfully than mere words do.

it sounds like he's the type a person that says yes to everything and not thinking about what he is saying yes to. sounds like a very selfish man. i say you get what you pay for. go elsewhere for lessons.

i think he used to be interested in you but now he's not so sure. he's probably stringing you along until he decides if he's interested in another girl or not. any one who does this sort of thing is iresponsible and doesn't realy care about anyone but themself.
