Saying there is no rapture is false, very false. Why do you think the son of man said to count yourselfs worthy to excape of of these things that are coming on the earth and stand before the son of man?Two people will be in the field grinding mill, one taken and one left behind, two people will be in bed, one taken and one left behind. The true people of Jesus are not appointed to wrath. The luke warm christians who go to church once per week, then live like the rest of the world the next will not be raptured, and all the unbelievers will be left to face the wrath of God. They will perish. But me I have hope and faith(my middle name) that the rapture will take place very soon. Sure rapture is not in the bible, but caught up is the same thing, and caught up is in the bible in 1 Thess 4 v13-18, so read it. The dead in Christ will rise first, and we who are still alive at the time will be caught up in the clouds to meet the lord in the air, and remain with him forever.(Rapture)

If it is a true and critical teaching, why is not even the word rapture in the Bible?

Christians will be lifted from the earth and gathered together to meet Jesus, and so shall we ever be. The problem begins with the misinterpretation of Daniel 9:27 (And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.)

This verse is used to teach the false doctrine of the 7 year tribulation, and the rapture is falsely taught to come before it, or in the middle of it, or after it but before the millenial reign of Christ begins, which is false also. When Jesus comes back to earth as 2 Peter 3:10 says the earth will be destroyed.

It's no surprise that these doctrines are taught at this time because the devil knows that his time is short and it's his aim to separate as many people as he can from the truth in these last days. Those who have ears to hear with and eyes to see with know that error in the church has caused many to go astray. God in these last days has raised up pastors after his own heart who cling to the truth and are able to preach the faith once delivered. I've posted a link below to the website where you can hear preaching that is true. Remember, error is not the opposite of the truth, it's anything less than the truth.

There are two instances in the Bible of his appearing. One being sort of secretive, when the dead in Christ are resurrected and we that are alive and remain are caught up to me the Lord in the air. This is the "Come up hither" of Revelation. The second appearance which is the return, is when every eye shall see him. His feet actually touch on the Mount of Olives, and he sets up his Kingdom on earth. Some believe the first will happen before the tribulation period "my belief", because like Noah he entered the ark before the flood. Some believe it will happen mid tribulation, before antichrist deceives the whole world, but this cannot be because when the antichrist breaks the peace treaty with Israel, then you will be able to pinpoint the time of Christ's return 3-1/2 years, and its clear that no-one knows the hour or the day. Some believe it happens at the end which I do not believe, because there are 2 definite and different descriptions as noted above. The real question will be, How will the antichrist explain the disappearance of millions of people? My speculation is that it will be just before a nuclear halocaust killing millions of people. He can just say they were evaporated in the war.

The be conscious "rapture" does not ensue interior the Bible. the belief of the Rapture, however, is obviously taught in Scripture. The Rapture of the church is the form wherein God eliminates all believers from the earth with the intention to make way for His righteous judgment to be poured out on earth throughout the time of the Tribulation era. The Rapture is defined in maximum cases in a million Thessalonians 4:13-18 and a million Corinthians 15:50-fifty 4. a million Thessalonians 4:13-18 describes the Rapture as God resurrecting all believers who've died, giving them glorified bodies, and then departing the earth with those believers who have been nonetheless alive, who've additionally been given glorified bodies. "For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a noisy command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the ineffective in Christ will upward thrust first. After that, we who're nonetheless alive and are left would be caught up including them interior the clouds to fulfill the Lord interior the air. And as a fashion to be with the Lord consistently" (a million Thessalonians 4:sixteen-17). a million Corinthians 15:50-fifty 4 makes a speciality of the on the spot nature of the Rapture and on the glorified bodies we can get carry of. "pay attention, I inform you a secret: we will not all sleep, yet we can all get replaced - in a flash, interior the quick while, on the final trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the ineffective would be raised imperishable, and we can get replaced" (a million Corinthians 15:fifty one-fifty two). The Rapture is the wonderful adventure we could desire to consistently all be longing for. we can finally be unfastened from sin. we can be in God's presence consistently. there is far too lots debate over the meaning and scope of the Rapture. it quite is not God’s motive. particularly, with regard to the Rapture, God needs us to “inspire one yet another with those words.”

the early church did not teach a pre-trib. "rapture" it was not until the late 1800s when it the concept was made up> when millions of christians aren't "raptured" during armageddon there faith will be shattered! the "rapture" is an end-time DECEPTION! so many people have bought into this nonsense! "left-behind books, etc." the christians will be taken up into the clouds with Jesus on the LAST day, not before armageddon>> "he who endures till the END, shall be SAVED..." remember?

How sad it is that for those of us that read the Bible see & read either between the lines, under the lines, on top the lines, or far & few amist the lines. It is sad that us Christian debate the most amongst ourselves & make ourselves look ridiculous as the whole world witnesses. If we cant get it right & together, & agree upon the same thing were reading, how can we expect to win anyone over to CHRIST? So , as the world watches Christians, WWJD? WERE WASTING PRECIOUS TIME.

There is no evidence for the rapture, and there was no rapture theory in existence until relatively recent times.

Read Exodus and see how God manages to keep his people out of harms way, without "rapturing" them up to heaven!

saying there IS a rapture is false, very false.

listen i dont understand why you theists cant seem to get this through your head. your beliefs, simply because you cherrish them and worship them does not necessarily mean that they are 100% absolute fact. you claim that therapture is true. well thats basically telling me (to my face) that your beleifs are correct and mine (or anyone elses) are false.

why cant you people just keep your beleifs in your head and avoid from speaking about them? i wouldnt have a problem with it if it wasnt for the constant assertions of absolute fact by you people.

sheesh. have some common coutesy, dont go around insisting your beleifs are fact SIMPLY because they give you a warm fuzzy feeling.

and come on...the whole rapture idea is laughable. if you REALLY want people to take you seriously i reccomend dropping that. replace "god" with any fictiona character and youll understand why some people look at you like your an asshat. not saying you are...just saying some may see you that way.

You can't read these things out of context. You can't pick things from different books and chapters, stick them together and assume they mean what you want them to mean. These verses aren't connected, read the stuff before and after them and see if this still makes sense.

I'm sure it feels nice to believe in a situation where you will be sucked up to the sky before you die and everyone else won't. But you aren't in charge of who is and is not a good Christian. And honestly, christ never promised you eternal life without dieing first.
