Weird. If it had happened once I would've suspected food poisoning. What did she eat the second night? If the same substance had been in both foods, she may be allergic to something. Does she have acid reflux? That may have affected her stomach. It could be some kind of hormonal imbalance. Also, certain medicines can make you sick. Sometimes I get sick from a certain kind of migraine medicine. Also, taking Ibuprofen on an empty stomach can make you sick. I'm not a doctor, so I have no real idea, just throwing something out there.

She should monitor what she eats. She might be allergic to the tomato sauce, for example. Another possibility is that she is bulimic. Could that be possible? People who are bulimic can make themselves throw up without sticking a finger down their throats. A third possibility is that she is pregnant. Usually a pregnant woman gets morning sickness, but this could be an exception to the rule.

It could also be a panic attack. Some people (like my ex husband) can get sick during panic attacks and feel better after throwing up or going to the bathroom. You don't have to be stressed out to have a panic attack. They can strike quickly. Your friend might not even tell anyone.
Other than that, food poisoning.

Other than food poisoning, I'm thinking pregnancy...
Tell her to see a doctor if the symptoms persist for more than 3 days or immediately if she's having other weird episodes like
high fever, fainting, diarrhea...

Some people are lactose intolerant and have strong reactions to dairy products -- like throwing up. Did she eat dairy today? Some people have difficulty digesting dairy products (and get upset stomachs, gas, diarrhea) and others just plain can't tolerate them at all and throw up. I have known a couple of people who have this reaction to dairy products.
