The Bible says of Jesus after His death "Thus it says, as He ascended on high, He led the captured away into captivity (referring to Satan's captives). He gave gifts to men. Now what does "He ascended" mean, except that He also went down into the LOWER PARTS OF THE EARTH?. The One who descended is Himself the One who ascended far above all the heavens to fill the universe" (Ephesians 4:7-10)
So we see that Hell or more correctly Hades (Greek) or Sheol (Hebrew), which is the realm of the dead is located in the "lower parts of the earth"
As to heaven coming to earth when Jesus returns, I don't think that is fully accurate. The Kingdom of heaven or Kingdom of God will be manifested in the earth and the evil spirit called Satan who dominates the whole earth will be dethroned and cast into a pit for 1000 years. Heaven will still be where it is - but His kingdom will have come and His will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven. Afterward, Satan will be released for a short time and his final judgment will occur and the judgment of all men determining their final destiny will occur. Then a new heavens and new earth will be created, and the dwelling of God will be with man, on the new earth, in the city come down from heaven, the New Jerusalem (see Revelation, chapters 20-22)

The term Hell, in a Christian context, refers to a place or state of existence after death in which the individual suffers the consequences of unrepented immoral actions in life. The nature of hell and its punishment is a subject of debate between various denominations. Hell is however generally held to be irrevocable and eternal. Some Christians believe that hell is a physical place. Some believe that, while hell is real, it is a state, rather than a place, of separation from God. Others hold that hell is a metaphor for a self-imposed mental separation from God. Some view hell as a place of punishment by God while others see it more in terms of self-exclusion from God. Some hold that there are physical torments in hell, principally fire. Hell has historically played a large part in post-Constantinian Western culture, especially during the Middle Ages, and continues to significantly influence Western language, custom,

no and no. i think what everything in th bible should be taken with a grain of salt. after all, its like a really long game of telephone - the idea is generally the same - but certain details were left out while other details exaggerated . i don't believe in god, however, i love reading about theology and philosophy.. so here is my take on it: i think what heaven and hell ultimately means is that believers who are true and good will be rewarded by being close to god (spiritually and emotionally - i don't know about literally), while 'sinners' are punished by being far away from 'god's grace'. the idea of hell has been around for ages and long before the christian church . but for christians, hell became popular in europe in the middle ages (c. 400 - 1500 CE) - after the holy roman empire was created, the beginning of "divine right of kings", the catholic church mingling with politics, the crusades, and all the way to the protestant reformation. The paintings and popular images of "fire and brimstone" were a way to have the common people grasp the idea of being far from "god's grace" and not only to make it real for them, but also to instill fear so that they would put absolute power in their leaders and clergymen. so that's my take on it. I figure if your a good person - there should be no worries about how your afterlife will be. I also find the idea of heaven and hell to be quite similar to the children's idea of santa claus - when your good you get presents (heaven) and when you are naughty you get coal (hell). same basic principal i think.

Hell and Heaven are nowhere other than this earth. When you born as a broiler chicken you can feel this earth as Hell... When you born as millionaire, you can see this earth as Heaven... This earth is the Heaven for some and Hell for others.

Nope!
Hell is more a state of the mind where you suffer in this body in this life time. In theosophical terms there is no heaven or hell. All that is created by your mind. The soul separated from the body is always pure. It returns to an earthly body to experience its karma which can be hell or heaven depending upon its previous karma.

Hell in the New Testament is translated from the Greek Word "Gehenna" which in Jesus' time was a garbage pit, outside the city walls of Jerusalem to the southwest. It was periodically set on fire with sulfur to burn the garbage within. Also during Jesus' time criminals that had been put to death and considered unworthy of a burial were thrown into the pit to dispose of their bodies. When Jesus spoke of Gehenna it was not to say that the unworthy would burn in Hell forever, rather it was a metaphor of complete destruction of the unworthy.
The original text of the Bible does not contain the word "Hell" as written in the original Greek and Hebrew. It does have "sheol", "hades", "gehenna, and "tararus", none of which translate into "Hell" as we know it today. And before you say "aha, hades" look up the Greek description of hades, it is anything but a fiery place of eternal damnation.
In the original text of the Bible, it states that after death, if you are good in the eyes of the Lord, you shall pass on into the Garden but if you were not good, you cease to exist.

The Centre of the earth is a dense core of iron and nickle surrounded by a molten outer core of the same material. It provides us with the magnetic shield that surrounds the planet and acts like a gigantic dynamos. So its a good thing not evil!
