I did tonight. I was flabbergasted! What an absolutely McStupid idea. On any given occassion, the amount of sugar and cream I want in my coffee depends on my mood for sweetness, lightness, amount of coffee and the freshness of the coffee. And they want me to memorize all the possible combinations in order to tell them how many creams and sugars I want the employee to go to the back and add to my coffee! Please answer with your opinion for or against the new policy. Thanks, McLost-my-business!

ps I live in a rural area of Northern CA where there are only two McDonald's near me. Both have only recently starting doing this and I was told that it was a corporate policy.

That's been going on here in the Midwest for the last year or so, and I think it's stupid, too. Not only did they change the coffee at the same time so that it's a Starbuck's wannabe (and I can't stand Starbuck's), but now they add the cream and sugar for you.

Big deal. . .so you save a few bucks on individual servings of cream and sugar. Is it worth the loss of business when people say, "See ya -- I'll go to Hardee's for coffee."

I completely accept as true with you. human beings imagine it will make their lifestyles less demanding yet at the same time as they positioned the sugar and cream all incorrect in there the complaining will merely take longer than them actual putting the cream and sugar in there themselves! i imagine it truly is in effortless words yet otherwise for Mcdonald's to get some interest and make employer. Ha, like it desires any more beneficial....

I havent' encountered that policy yet. Is it just that restaurant or the whole chain? Maybe that particular restaurant has some cream and sugar abusers & they were forced to do it them selves. I agree with you though, I like to add own too.

Wow, pretty soon they'll be putting on as much ketchup on hamburgers as they want to. Oh wait, they already do that. Well, pretty soon they'll be putting on as much salt as they want on french fries. Oh yeah, they already do that. I got it, pretty soon they'll be putting as much tartar sauce as they want on the fish sandwiches. Oh shoot, they already do that. Well, I guess I just don't care then.

wow, that's.....stupid. I can only do it by taste, because good coffee needs less, and crappy coffee (like, oh say ...MCDONALD'S) needs more.
