When you are young you have a higher muscle mass on your body especially being a boy. It wouldn't take much to thin down. It isn't how much you weigh so much. Stand in front of a mirror and look at you body. Do you have an apron? A roll of fat hanging down over your waist? This you would like to trim up. To do this you need to give up some junk foods. And walk more. Take the trash out for you Mom. Rake the leaves. Don't watch TV as much. Play with the dog. Don't snack on cookies or crackers. Drink lots of water. That is how the fat leaves the body. Good luck. If you can, take a Multi Vita. and an Omega 3.

Honestly, you are okay. I knew a guy when I was 14 and he was 14. He thought he was overweight too. However, he hit his growth spurt and turned into a good looking man. He ended up being a football player and grew into his body nicely. So, no you are not overweight for 14. Guys don't hit their growth spurts for a while so be patient. I think you stop growing around 25 so you'll thin out. However, if it's bothering you a lot, consider getting involved in a sport. Some high schools have weight training classes and other physical activity classes you can take to help you stay active. Even general PE is active. Get the most out of these activities that you can and try hard. You'll be fine and good luck to you.

You are not fatty mcfatterson, however, loosing a few pounds in a HEALTHY way will only make you feel better. Cut back a little on food and exercise a little more...you are 14 though, so you could grow into your weight. The key is to stay active.
