It's your fault that you let him get away with all of the things he has done. You should have left him a long time ago. It's your fault. You didn't take action and take care of yourself.
As for the letter, tell him how proud his mother must be for all of the things he has done to you. Really rub it in.

The best thing you can do to bug him is to act like you are so happy and enjoying life, you don't miss him a bit, etc. Never let a man know you are hurt! Be tough! Thick skinned! Grin and bare it! He is not worth the time of day. any good or bad thoughts wasted on him is wasted energy. there are more fish in sea, lot of fish!!!! You deserve better. Next time don't fall so easy for someone. Protect yourself. Save yourself for your husband, dear. Don't throw yourself to the wolves. It isn't worth it. Take up a hobby, go a for a hike, knit a sweater, ride a bike, write a book, climb a mountain. Life is for living here and now. Forget the jerk. Reach for higher ground. Pray your little heart out and ask God to send you a man who will appreciate you and care for you. Someone who will wait for you and marry you and supply your needs in marriage. Times a wasting start today.

If you are planning on continuing the relationship with this man, what exactly is the purpose of writing a hurtful letter? That certainly is not going to make the chances of making the relationship any better.
If the relationship is over, I would suggest you just forget it and move on.
You can ventilate on him if you wish, but is it really worth the traumatic feelings?
Move on.

I'm really sorry that you hurt, but writing that letter isn't really going to help much. You might feel better, but the guy might not even care. If he knows that he hurt you that badly and doesn't care, he probably won't care about the letter either. I'm so sorry.

You'll have to do this. Don't sugarcoat it, but do not send it. The writing of the letter is catharsis for you. It is safe to say that the man in question won't care what you say.

I WOULD NOT WRITE HIM A HURTFUL LETTER, IF YOU NEED
TO GET CLOSURE , THEN WRITE HIM AND LET HIM KNOW HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT THE BREAKUP AND HOW HE HURT
YOU, THEN SWEETHEART, THEN MOVE ON. TIME WILL
HEAL YOUR HEART AND YOU WILL LOVE AGAIN. BUT IF
YOU DO SOMETHING OUT OF SPITE THE ONLY PERSON
THAT IT WILL HURT IS YOU IN THE LONG RUN.

If he already hurt you, what makes you think your letter will even matter to him? Have some pride and self-respect.

no. You aren't going to make him feel guilty and it will only make you feel better if you write it from the heart and then burn it and resolve to move on with your life.
