I've never had any metal allergies, but this morning I noticed rashes where my belt buckle, watch, and bracelet usually are. I'd hate to throw it all away, but is this sort of thing possible?

If you already have had allergies to other things in the past.It is possible as you get older to become allergic to other things.
It could also be your body chemistry has changed recently and has caused a specific reaction. New soap? New lotion?
Metal allergies are usually just a term used to describe contact dermatitis. It is usually associated with one type of metal, for example Nickel is the most common metal allergy. Is your jewelry new? Perhaps very old and has been stripped of any coating it may have had. Also any other skin conditions could be aggravated by wearing jewelry. Sweating, opening of the pores etc. If the symptoms persist after removing the jewelry and then trying it back on for a day and the rash returns. See a dermatologist to get skin patch testing to narrow down exactly what it is you are allergic to. It could just be something that will pass on its own and isn't associated directly with the jewelry at all.
If the symptoms persist or get worse..See your Doctor to rule out anything serious.
