hey since you do not believe in God, or any religion of man,why then do you follow them. How might you ask? Hollidays perhaps? Valintines,Holloween, Christmass? they are all of so called mans religions. to be an athiest (which know one cannot prove they are) you have to deny these things, yet i have seen many so called athiests pratice them. Why is that?

Just to note i am a christian and i do not worship these mans hollidays because they are of man. By faith i came to know God, and through his works i am the man i am today. Come out from among this wicked world (those who answered Gods call) and be ye seperate.

Cheerios can be enjoyed any day of the year.

But, I wonder why christians pay homage to the Sun God by worshipping every Sun Day.

1. Christmas was originally Yule which is a Pagan holiday. So, not Christian.

2. Halloween is seen as the devils night by most Christians so where you got the idea that its Christian, I don't know. Halloween is the night of the dead. It's also the witches New Year. So, not Christian.

3. Valentines, what makes you think Valentines day has anything to do with Christianity? Did you ever notice that its a day for chocolates, flowers, presents, and spending time with your significant other? By the gods, do you realize that Cupid is a Roman god of love?

Honestly, are some Christians just psycho that they can't see the secular in anything? Or even the fact that there are other religions out there that celebrated things before Christianity ever existed?

Valentines is a holiday made by companies to make money. Christmas is a pagan holiday so is holloween. Any way should we stop new years 2? God has noting to do with celebrating life and taking a brake from work. I dont know what religion you are but i doubt you know why you even celebrate your holidays.

We don't deny the culture we live in. We simply don't believe in God. There are plenty of atheists who still go to church because it's the only place in town to socialize. You seem to want to turn atheists into some sort of ideologues like fundamentalist Christians. Not believing in God is simple.

The majority of people in northern Europe are non-religious. They still celebrate the various holidays you mentioned. They're fun. Maybe you could try having a bit more fun.

Valentines is a Christian holiday as well as halloween?

Who are you to say what Atheism is or isn't? Most Atheists celebrate those things because they see most of them are corruptions of multi-religious doctrines, so they hold no specific religious meaning. Anyone who believes Christmas is still a holiday about Jesus is deluded or outright stupid.

Atheism has no rules save one - To be an atheist, I must be able to say I don't believe in God. I can believe in anything else I want and still be an atheist.

Most of us celebrate holidays because they are fun, and we like being with our families just as much as you do.

Atheism = one rule
The English language = many rules

If you can half *** the second, you should be able to fully understand the first.

Oh, don't be fooled; it IS a religion. Right now the god of the hour is richard dawkins. Before him it was someone else; they change every few years with their little groupie followers, but their followers are as devout to their god of atheism as we are to the GOD almighty, Jesus Christ; (they just don't realize they've been duped)!

Because, even though they have a connection with religions they aren't owned by them. We like to participate in holidays just like the rest of you.

cultural pressure, for over three thousand years the religious have been murdering anybody suspected of not being a believer.

Now why are all these dates marking celestial events. Solstices, equinoxes, etc.
Have you stolen all of the nonreligious ceremonies and hidden their true meanings under religious claptrap.

Celebrating love (valentine's), scary myths (halloween), etc... doesn't mean I believe that there is a supernatural being who created the world. Can you see the difference?
