I love horror, comedy, and action movies so let's see if I can give you a couple names.

"House of Wax" is good for a scare.
"Final Destination 3" is also pretty good, enjoyed the roller coaster scene, but liked it throughout.
"Predator vs Alien" --I enjoyed, but didn't really find scary.
"King Kong" --Peter Jackson's version is good.
"It" --that movies still scares the living sh*t outta me. Honestly I think it's because clowns exist in the real world and that's basically the bad guy there. *shivers*
"Aliens" --any of them. Bleh...having creepy killing things fly outta your chest is creepy.
"Puppet Masters" is pretty freaky if you can find it.

Umm, if you really want scarey movies these are ones I do NOT recommend "The Grudge" or "When a Stranger Calls". I kept falling asleep during one and the second made my brother fall asleep.

Good luck, hope I helped!! Happy Holidays!!

Comedy- The Big Lebowski Action- The Island Drama- Trees Lounge Gangster- Miller's Crossing Romance- Blind Date (kind of romance) Western- I don't care for those. Classic- Is Dog Day Afternoon a classic? (Al Pacino. I'm on an Pacino binge) Musical- Across the Universe Adventure- Oh Brother where Art Thou? Horror- Silent Hill Thriller- Fargo Fantasy- Edward Scissorhands/Big Fish I have Bernie Bernbaum as my desktop background. Great movie.

Try the crow, now its not "scary" per say, just has the makings of a scary movie but has a love story that is just awesome! its about 2 ppl that were killed on the night before their wedding and a year later the guy comes back and avenges their death

Glitter with Mariah carey - can't get scarier than that!!!!!!!!!!

Actually a sci-fi horror called event horizon is really bad movie but has creapy imagery that gives me nightmares before also I would check into Silent Hill and the puppetmaster movies as well!!!!!

and if you needs some classes the exorcist or the shining :)

There's a really disturbing, scary movie that came out several years ago... by a Japanese film maker. The English name of the movie is "Deeper."

VERY creepy! I think you can order it from Netflix.

Also, Roger Ebert gave "The Descent" 4 stars. Said it was as good as the original "Alien" movie.

Ok first of all, you want a scary movie? Then I would have to say the Exorcist. If you want blood and gore then The Hills Have Eyes.

If you want something really macabre, try "Reanimator", based on H.P. Lovecraft's book.

If you want to get away from pure gore and watch a riveting thriller with a twist that'll make your heart beat fast, try "Identity" with John Cusack.
