Ok I'm supposed to make a trip over the new years holiday to visit a friend from out of the country. She is going home to visit family so the trip is not in vain. Here is the problem we have kinda been talking informally for quite some time now and I am going to feel really bad about not seeing her because she has waited like 6 months to see me and if i dont see her she will be devastated. She really likes me and I think I would have a great time. The problem is that i recently met this girl and I kind of want to spend new years with her. However if I plan to do that then the room and plans that I made with the visiting girl will go to waste. I really want to go on the trip and use the vacation that I bought but I think i might want to take the new girl. First I'm going to feel guilty about taking this girl on a trip that was designed for someone else but I can see more of a future with her than the visiting girl. The visiting girl likes me ALOT more than I like her and I think

She plans to make the trip worth my while if you know what i mean but I'm not sure thats such a good idea because she likes me so much.

By the way I am paying to go on this trip she will not be paying for me at all I am also paying for the hotel.

If you don't see a future with the "Visiting girl" then do NOT waste your time with her. It really is that simple. In the future if you do NOT want to feel like a selfish guy, don't put yourself in situations that would cause you behave so.

Well either way she will be hurt but your doing the right thing. If your not that nuts on her and you have a better future with the one closer by and your more into her than this other one that lives far away. Your best to go with whom you like. No sense faking it with the other girl and leading her on. Your probably saving her heartache down the road.
Good luck with the one you like. and do tell the other girl the truth.
