In spanish I hear people call their girlfriend/wife/whatever "Miaha" or something like that. I know I'm spelling it wrong but I'm trying to figure out how to spell it right and what it means in English. Can anyone help me? Thanks :-)

Thank you! I am naming my new puppy Mia and was wondering if it's something I would use with her in the show ring!

I think I can use that as a pet name for Mia! She'll probably come to it too!

It's slang forming the words "Mi" and "Hija"
It literally means "My daughter"
But is used in a context meaning something like "My girl"

So "Mija" is pretty much a pet name used to express fondess in one's relationship with a chica.

It's spelled 'Mija'. And it's just like a fond pet name. People use it sort of like sweetie or sweetheart in english.

it is a term of endearment that can be translated as sweetie or sweetheart but can also be slang for daughter
