Your way too young to be worried about boys. Boys only want to have fun, not play house. Please do not lose your best friend over some boy because after he gets tired of both of you he will move on to some other girl and your friendship could be ruined.

Yeeeeah, you're gonna get a lot of "You're too young to be worried about this" and "stop worrying about boys" and blablabla. Well, it's no that easy, is it? Ya know, you probably won't even listen to anything anyone here has to say anyways, you'll probably just do what your heart thinks is best-power to ya. But if I could give you any piece of advice, it'd be this (and this is from one girl to another)----Dudes come and go---all the time. From now until the day you meet the absolute one. But your friends are gonna be there possibly for weeks, months, years, or life. Think about her, first. You guys don't want some momentary crush to ruin what you have, and let me tell ya--when friends like the same dude and he picks one over the other or you start getting jealous of eachother--that can really ruin things for you two. The next thing you know, you've lost a good friend over some guy you won't like in a couple of days or weeks anyways. Then you're looking back on it like "crap, what'd I do that for?" and you've gotta try and make things cool between you and her all over again---which might not work out.

Also, keep in mind that as soon as you have him--he's probably going to be some really boring guy who isn't half as cool to talk to or hang out with as your friend.

Anywho! I hope you make a good decision, keep it cool!

You're in the 5th grade don't worry about it. My bother is in the 5th grade and he doesn't think along those lines yet. Nor does his friends. But it's completely okay to have a crush. I remember having them all the time.

Sorry to tell you this but if he likes you and your friend, odds are that you and your friend will fight over this guy and it will end your friendship all because of a little piece of crap that you wont even remember his name 5 years from now. Save yourself and save your friendship. Get over him its the best for everyone.

Aww, this is so cute. Just tell your friend that you like him too and get to know him better with her, but don't lose your friend over it. The idea is that he gets to choose one of you and you two don't fight over him.
