My baby is four months old and my sister-in-law ALWAYS brings her four and five year old to family gatherings ill. She is really sneeky about it too. At my baby's christning, she brought her son who informed the family (as he was double-dipping his chips in the dip) that he "puked" that morning and my sister-in-law told him "Shhh." She was never going to tell anyone. Does anyone else have this problem. How do I keep my little one healthy with an insensitive family member like this? Does anyone else have this problem?

Even in Slovenia this is discouraged unless you are at drive-in theatre. But I wouldn't suggest it then either because we hear rumour that such things lead to outbreak of madness in Greek fishing community. Their children are fit only for work in the circus or as Italian politicians and should never be allowed to wear spandex.

just keep the children away from your little one. I have family like this too, I feel your pain. Also, bring some hand santizer and make a game out of putting it on the children. They will think it is fun.

Let the family know that you will not attend functions with your child if other people continue to bring their sick kids. Try to get others with children to side with you on this. Maybe your cousin will get the point. Or just flat out tell her that she needs to stay home when her kids are sick.

I don't have that problem cause there's only 1 baby to go around!

But that's disgusting!!

I'd say keep your baby away from her!
