a stick of butter is 1/2 cup. The wrapper says 6 tbsp is 1/3 a cup so you would need 12 tablespoons or a stick and a half of butter.

Dear MesterTim: I believe one full stick will melt down to 1/2 cup. Therefore, to get another third cup I think 2/3 of another stick must be used.
So, 1 and 2/3 of butter sticks should melt down to 2/3 cups of melted butter.
Double it and you would have 3 and 1/2 sticks of butter.
Best regards, Lana

2/3 of a cup is 10.6 tablespoons. Each stick of butter has 8 tbsp. It should be marked on the wrapper. So, if youre doubling it you need like 21.3 tbsp so that is like 2 and half sticks of butter.

16 tablespoons (T) = 1cup (c)
1 stick = 8T = 1/2 cup
1/3 c = 5 1/3 T
2/3 c = 10 2/3 T = 1 stick plus 2 2/3T ( 2 2/3T = slightly over 1/4 stick)

1/3 cup is equal to 5 1/3 lines on the cube. so you will need 2 cubes plus 1/3 of one of the lines, 1 line equals 1 tablespoon.

I am a vegan Mum too, also in Oz, and I reckon we have tons of choice for products here...and for the record I think cheezly is horrible lol. You wanted more unprocessed things though, didn't you? This is what I serve my little girl Jovy (she is 2) and she loves it all - spaghetti bolognaise (I use lentils instead of beef and add grated zucchini, sliced mushrooms and olives) - tacos with refried beans, home made guacamole, lettuce, tomato and corn kernels - pumpkin soup with bread and margarine (organic mountain is a great vegan margarine if you haven't discovered it already). She also likes Leek, Potato and Cauliflower soup. Both soups need to be well blended though. - Falafel pita wraps with hummus, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and olives - Cheeseless vegetable pizza. I buy the Ancient Grains Wholemeal Spelt bases and lay tomato paste, hummus and a variety of veggies such as zucchini, eggplant, red capsicum, red onions and olives - Have you tried the vegetable creations pies? They are totally healthy and all vegan. Jovy's favourite is the spinach and potato roll topped with tomato sauce, but she also likes the pumpkin and tofu pie. They are worth seeking out too. - Lentil Shepherds pie is another favourite.
