Yep, I've done that. I kept getting badgered into it, because he was all depressed and mopey about it and I felt bad for hurting him. It's true, too, for me at least. It didn't work out. I think the reason that nine times out of ten these sort of relationships crash and burn is because: if you had a problem with that person bad enough to where you didn't feel a connection to begin with, chances are if you get back together again it's only going be the same. I mean, what are the odds of someone changing between the first time you went out and the second time? If you're going to question the relationship the first time around, the second time it'll only get easier to get that feeling of "wanting out" all over again-maybe even worse.

Hey, my wife and I broke up twice! It happened over a 5 year span. Then we got married. I can say, we have the best relationship I have ever seen. The break ups were based on differences on opinions regarding freedom. We reconciled both times after talking things out.
I have a buddy too that dated someone for about 7 years and they broke up for 2 months and ended up getting back together and marrying. It does happen sometimes.
I have had it go the other way too.
Good luck.

well... yes, i have also heard from alot of people that it doesnt last long once people reunite, but not in my case. I met my girlfriend a t a party and we hooked up, a lil while later i dumped her kuz we were too diffeent, after a couple of months we started talking again and we both liked these new features each of us had, the relationship felt so new, now ive been with her for 7 months now and things are going pretty good and it's because since we've seen the bad parts of ourselves, now the new us brings out the good. Well, hope u resolve this, good luck, peace.

Yes, and I soon realized that we had broken up for a reason. It is too hard to go back once you have ended things. It's best to leave well enough alone. I totally regretted the one time I reunited with an ex. It was a complete and total waste of my time and energy.

Yes, and you know what? It was the worst mistake of my life. It did not work out at all. We were even more bitter when we broke up for the last time!

I was with a guy for off and on for a few months..it worked really well for a little bit, then i just couldn't take it anymore lol. So yeah. it's really not good. i figure if you break up once with someone, obviously there's something not right, and you just gotta give it up. I don't know. i could be wrong.

Me and my boyfriend broke up after a year and nine months. We got back together after 23 days. Soon after that, we got married. We have been married for 4 months now. We regret ever breaking up and now we are more happy than we ever were. Hopefully we'll stay together. We'll see........... :)
