Re Catholics: Parishioners were and are appalled that some Bishops allowed this to happen. We lost a lot of Catholics because of it. I have a friend who said this, "Bishops who allowed this to go on should resign, go into a monastery and spend the remainder of their lives on their knees praying that God will forgive them." That pretty much sums up how Catholics feel about the harm done to so many children by our priests with their Bishop's knowledge & consent.

Not all but any religion which preaches that their beliefs are absolute and therefore non-believers are inferior is sowing the seeds for hatred and to some eventual degree; terrorism.
