It Is Appointed Unto Men Once to Die
http://www.topical-bible-studies.org/33-0018.htm

I looked at these passages and was not all convinced that reincarnation doesn't exist on the basis of passages like this. How does your religion believe about this? I do not believe reincarnation can be so easily denied.

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
One would have to really stretch these words to so boldly declare there is no such thing as reincarnation. If you become fit to enter in the Kingdom of the Supreme Being then there is no more reincarnation. If your passport to the Kingdom of God Lord Jesus the Christ, then are you sure you are following Lord Jesus in truth?

"Once to Die" could very well mean that we all must die as we are trapped in the material biological body. At death we are certainly judged, but that doesn't mean it's all over. Suppose we get judged and it is determined where we are fit to go. If we are not fit to enter in the spiritual world then we are given a new birth somewhere in the material existence.

I have always believed in reincarnation.

When Jesus began his ministry, many people wondered if he was the reincarnation of one of the prophets. Some people wondered the same thing concerning John the Baptist. And even Jesus affirmed to his disciples that John the Baptist was indeed the reincarnation of the prophet Elijah. Throughout his ministry, Jesus taught people about the true resurrection - a spiritual rebirth within a living person. Thus, when Jesus stated that he was the resurrection and the life, he was teaching them a radical new principle. It was a rebirth of the spirit - not into a new body - as when we are born from our mother's womb - but a rebirth of our spirit within the body we now inhabit. Jesus was distinguishing between what was already believed in those days concerning the afterlife and a new teaching concerning a spiritual change within us that can lead to liberation. He was making a distinction between "the resurrection of the body" (returning to life from physical death) and "the resurrection of the spirit" (returning to life from spiritual death).

This is the one ... there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist ... And if you are willing to accept it, he is the Elijah who was to come. He who has ears, let him hear. (Matt. 11:11-15)

The doctrines of pre-existence and reincarnation existed as secret teachings of Jesus until they were declared a heresy by the Roman Church in 553 A.D. It was at this time that the Roman Church aggressively destroyed competing teachings and so-called heresies within the Church. Along with the destruction of unorthodox teachings came the destruction of Jews, Gnostics, and ultimately anyone who stood in the way of the Inquisition and Crusades.

We are all appointed to die one physical death. After the physical death, when Jesus returns the second time to gather all the unbelievers and believers together in heaven, there will be two final judgements. One of the judgements will be when God separates the believers from the unbelievers and the unbelievers are thrown into the Lake of Fire along with Satan and his followers. The second judgement will occur when the believers will stand before the Great White Throne. Jesus will be the one to Judge us according to what we have done and what we have said while on earth. He will also judge us according to our witness to others, and he will reward us accordingly.

I expect you intended "die" rather of "vitamin"? Once we die there will probably be no moment threat to search forgiveness. Even despite the fact that there will probably be a last judgment at the quality Judgment Day our destiny could have been sealed. The verse stresses the urgency of each and every man or woman to make arrangements NOW. The gospel of Christ has the vigour to avoid wasting someone (Rom. one million:sixteen; Mk. sixteen:15-sixteen; Acts two:37-38; nine:one million-18; 22:sixteen) *Note from Acts nine:6. Notice that Saul used to be to be advised what he MUST do. Now learn verse 18 at the side of 22:10-sixteen).

Christians do not need a concept like reincarnation because they know for certain that when they die, they will meet God. Eastern religions tend to believe in reincarnation because they feel they have failed and failed over and over in this life and need an opportunity to get it right. If they get a second and third and fourth chance to try, they hope that eventually they will reach that plain of perfection and be beyond reincarnation. Christ Jesus makes the believer perfect by simply forgiving us of our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness. If we continue to sin, we have an advocate...Jesus Christ who goes before the Father God on our behalf. He helps us to overcome. The Spirit leads us to truth and helps us have the power to conquer the negative things in our lives. In Christ, I am 'a new creation' so I do not need to be reincarnated...I am already new...before I die!

Looking for an ambiguity are ye:

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Um, so what if the judgement can be reincarnation?

Blah blah blah...Theology arguement ensues...yadda yadda yadda...

It's not reincarnation. Your soul will still live after the body dies. The question is where will your soul live?

Today, the concept is that God is everything!

Because people have embraced this eastern metaphysical worldview, and, in so doings, they are turning to Yoga, Meditation, Out of Body Experiences, belief in Crystal Consciousness and etc.

Spiritualism which was at one time consider pagan in the past, but, are being embraced today as the New Spirituality, and is literally being embraced around the world.

In 1 Timothy 4:1, Brother Paul writes; Now the Spirit speaketh
expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith,
giving heed to seducing (or deceiving) spirits, and doctrines of
devils;

Many years ago, while, searching for the truth in spiritualism, I got
involved with a girl, that introduced me into altered state of
consciousness. There are many ways to reach an alter-state of
consciousness. There are drugs, psychedelics, practicing yoga,
hypnosis and etc.

With me, I jump into metaphysical spiritualism with both feet! Went as far as past life regression, through, hypnosis. And found myself as small boy in back of a wagon, fleeing across the landscape, with others around me, from warriors and servants of a wicked king, in Ireland.

In this vision of my past life, I even saw a vision of this king from
neck down, and the type of clothing he was wearing. I then started researching this vision, at Oxford book store, and found the things I saw in the vision was correct and true, in every detail, even down to the color and type of garments the king was wearing.

With my ancestry being from Ireland, I swallowed this deception for a time, hook, line and sinker! Looking more into hypnosis, and then reincarnation.

And in so doings, forgetting my Biblical teachings and up-bringing, concerning spiritual intellectual beings, the fallen angles, along with their leader Lucifer, that's been roaming the earth, before the fall of man.

When we see the word's devils, demons, wicked and evil spirits in the Bible, we often think of them as hideous looking creatures, thanks to Hollywood, and others. Never realizing these are words and terms, that is used, Biblically, to identify, their nature, characteristic, and attributes, not their appearance!

For they are fallen angelic beings. Who possess the ability to
manipulate the mind, the thinking and thought process of mankind, and the ability, to possess humans, as we read so much about in the four gospels, (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, as well as the book of Acts) that the Jesus himself, encountered, and dealt with.

These, are spiritual intellectual beings, of whom it would be
nothing, for them, to reveal the life, and events of someone from the past, creating an illusion, that we are that individual in another
life, for the simple purpose of leading someone astray from the
truth, we have in Jesus!

For as I continued in this, newly found form, of spiritualism, I was
unaware that the Lord was leading me into a deeper understanding of the meanings and truth, about these vision.

Because I come to realize, that in a normal state of consciousness, the human spirit, the spirit of man, operates the human brain.

However, in an alter state of consciousness, you've released or
loosen that connection, where as, allowing these seducing or
deceiving spirits, the fallen angels, to impose themselves, setting
off the neurons in the brain, creating a world of believable,
illusions. It's as simple as that!

Whereby the results is as the Apostle Paul tells us… giving heed to seducing or deceiving spirits, and believing and following, the
teachings or doctrine of these fallen angels.

Me, I'll stick with the Bible; It is appointed unto man once to die; and after this (death) the judgment.
