The only way to achieve true peace on earth would be to answer every persons needs or wants. As there is a lot of people whose wants have started many wars (hitler, stalin, mussolini, etc...). There are many factors to making a single person truely happy which then would allow them to be peaceful, never mind everyone on earth. i don't think it is actually possible for us to obtain and maintain world peace. besides, if we had everything we wanted here on earth, what would we have to look forward to in heaven?

Yes.Peace came to earth as proclaimed by the angels when Christ was born."Peace on earth ,good will towards men." But it is also said in the word that in the last days they will claim peace but there won`t be any,untill Jesus comes again.

We've had peace on earth ever since Jesus died on the cross ... supernatural peace between God and man ... but not ordinary peace between men.
It was the supernatural peace obtained for us by Jesus Christ that the angels announced on the first Christrmas.
