Did you cash the check, cause if you did, that's probably IT. Never accept $ from an insurance company BEFORE they pay you for the car. Your'e not gonna get any more for a 16 year old car no matter how much you loved it. The TOTALLED amount was probably $1,000. Have you called them? Aren''t you wondering why they aren't contacting you? It's cause they're done, babe, done.

I'd wager that the value of that car is probably less than your deductible. In that case, no payment is due. Sorry!

Full coverage on an old car like that is a complete waste of money; you should have had liability only.

They should have notified you of that fact. Maybe it was included in the $1,000 that they already sent. Call them to verify that, or to find out what the story is.

Dude,

I think that $1000 was for your car. My question to you is, why haven't you gotten a lawyer? My second question is, did you have full coverage or just liability? You might be out of luck.

Cal the adjuster. This should a piece of cake to settle. Possibly the adjuster is overloaded. How do you know he is overworked? If you always get his voice mail and does not return call, If so call his supervisor, IF supervisor does not call, call his manager, IF this person is overworked, its not your problem, is it?
