Well, this is kind of a big mistake.
You should have kept those puppies until they were 8 or 9 weeks old. Anything sooner is extemely dangerous to the puppy.
Puppies need to be fully weaned before leaving mom, and they should not be weaned before 7 weeks.
Socializing starts at 6 weeks and they need to be with mom and littermates until 9 weeks.
6 week old puppies have extremely weak immune systems, you have sent them away with a huge chance to become deathly ill.
They do not build up the immunity again until 8 weeks. From the time they stop nursing to when they go should be at least 10 days because their little immune systems were being fed by mom and then they need to start working on their own before going to a new home.
Because the puppies were taken from the mom while they should have been nursing still then she will be producing milk with no one to drink it. It is like slamming the brakes on a speeding train.
Use warm damp compresses. Keep the one puppy nursing and try to get him on the fullest one. Hopefully the one pup can drink enough to keep the mom comfortable while her milk supply goes down.
Please remember in the future to keep all pups until they are 8 weeks old minimum and to read some breeding info and learn how to breed to have healthy happy puppies and mother.

Where'd they go? They shouldn't be gone for another week and a half min. But telling you that that was wrong won't change whatever made them go away *may not have been your fault, i don't accuse, but expect people to rail on you for this question*
I don't know what is the proper thing to do or even what will work, but try a breast pump. Seems crazy, but the only other option I can think of is milking her like a cow, and she may not like that *or the pump, for that matter*. The swelling is milk, therefore the best and maybe only way to reduce it is to get rid of the milk.
She'd be great right now to foster any other pups or animals she'd take, though. Just a random thought.
Can't quite picture milking a dog either way.... if that's what you chose to do, please do take and send me pictures! ^_^
edit-
This was a bit of a gag answer of something I thought might actually be helpful, but after really thinking, not such a great idea because milking continues milk production because the body thinks there are still puppies to feed.

I would use a warm compress (not the cold ones) on her and if she seems really uncomfortable milk the teats down a little. I know that it sounds stupid, but it will relieve the pressure and will not really interfere with the process of the breasts drying up.
Just so you know, the puppies really need to be weaned before they leave for the good of the puppies and their mother. I occasionally breed my French Bulldogs and I wean them a 5-6 weeks and do not let them leave until they are 10 weeks.

It was too early to take the pups away.
Try cold cabbage leaves. It really works!

Take her to the Vet...she could be developing Mastitis (inflamation of the mammory glands) this could lead to infection...I wouldnt wait, she may need antibiotics. In the mean time, use cool compresses...good luck!

she should still have her pups with her if she still has milk, once she has weaned them, then you can sell them
