Recently, I've been needing to urinate even though I did not consume any fluids. Is there something wrong?

Maybe you have a urinary tract infection.

Usually the frequent need to urinate is cause by a bladder infection. My suggestion is to drink plenty of water, cranberry juice, herbal teas and stay off of any carbonated drinks! The reason you're experiencing this feeling is because when you don't drink enough water your urine will sit in your bladder and cause an infection! I hope my advice will help!

your kidneys will keep processing urine even if you don't drink, just at a lower rate, so "not nessesarily."

However, the need to urinate a lot is the first visible symptom of diabetes, so get your blood sugar checked.

The kidneys produce urine continuously. You have to be pretty dry for urine production to drop dramatically.

Excessive urination usually means diabetes mellitus.
