Friends for ~6 years. best friends for almost all of them. in college together. shes always been more than a friend. how can i prove to her that i DO want to be the boyfriend.

Friends for ~6 years. best friends for almost all of them. in college together. shes always been more than a friend. how can i prove to her that i DO want to be the boyfriend. she feels as strongly about me as i do about her. our families are going crazy that we aren't together. i have told her i want to be. last night. i told her everything. we are closer as a friends than we would be dating (she holds friends closer).. and doesn't want to loose me if we broke up. i don't want to loose her either. it just means not breaking up.
as for buying her things and taking her places. thats what the $500 white gold/topaz/diamond ring she got for graduation was. and dinner after classes every week. and the lilies i brought to her house 45 minutes away for her birthday (in December). just to name a few things.
i just need to convince her that she's wrong. that i DO want to be "the boyfriend"

you tell her. i am dating my best friend of 12 yrs now since may. i have been separated from my husband for several yrs. we always considered each other as best friends. he wrote me a letter expressing his feelings several yrs ago. i finally responded!i love him to death!

Before I started dating my current girlfriend, we knew each other for about 2 1/2 years. We talked only when we ran into each other. Than One evening I asked her out. I was chatting with her online. Going out with your best friend is the best thing you can do. Trust me I regret myslef that I did not asked her out earlier. Just make sure she is not dating anyone else. Just ask her flat out that you want to go out with her and want to be her boyfriend. Than take her out to dinner. Well good luck and wish you the best.

You start acting like her boyfriend, right now you two probably joke like your just friends, take it to the next level. If she likes you back maybe you should make "the" move and kiss her. Or take her out to a fancy resturaunt. Show her how you feel. "Actions speak louder then words"

its gona be hard, but if u 2 do knw everything about each other once u get together it will be great. i'd say tell her striat up, no games played. but say it in a logical way, dont jus say i "hay i like u and i wana be ur bf" tell her u want to be with her, and y u want to be with her, and y she shld be with u, it takes balls, so say wat ur gona say to her a couple of times to ur self first, and get comfortable with it, then when u do tell her make sure its at the right place at the right time

If you can't find a way to say it where she believes you, buy a really romantic card and write your feelings inside.

write her a letter, kiss her on the spure of the moment, or just look deeply into her eyes and tell her what you feel for her.

look into her eyes and tell her. It's crucial that you say it very meaningfully. Tell her your deepest feelings and fantasies about her. Dont tell her anything TOO SEXUAL though. That will kinda ruin it.
