I dont allow kitties and doggies to die i make them die so as not to overcrowd the earth and remember thou shalt not take my name in vain!and not only that except for old age most animals die from human neglect,ie:thirst and hunger are an extremely horrible way to die so is hanging not to mention the damage that a motor vehicle can do when some irresponsible person lets their animal stray.and dont anyone say i couldnt help it they jumped the fence so it's the drivers fault ay the end of the day YOU are resposible for your animals whether they are pets or livestock.

I am not an overly religious person but here't goes.
God does not allow or prevent things from happening.
We have been given free will.
Everything that happens, barring interventions on the part of Mother Nature, is precipitous of that will.
We make choices. Our choices set into motion a series of actions and reactions.
That is why it is so important for us to put good energy out into the world rather than negative energy.
When others would come at us with anger, responding to them with anger only feed that negative energy.
When we respond with resolute calm and even kind understanding the anger is totally defused.
When we are driving in the fast lane and some ****** races up behind us on the freeway, if there is room move over and let him pass even if you may have to reduce your speed a bit.
The alterations you make are only momentary and who cares if that person is being rather rude. It only takes a moment for to let that ball of negative energy pass you by and it may be for the best if you do so. For you never know, a few minutes later you might drive by to see the unfortunate but discourteous person's car wrapped around a pole or off in a ditch. An altercation you might have been involved in if you had impeded his progress.
So at long last to answer your question a bit more directly.
It's all about choices, from the pet owners who choose care for their pets properly and like to spay & neutor their pets to prevent unwanted litters to theirs neighbors who choose to or not to speed and so on. . .Choices
In response to the right-to-lifer up there. . .
All life is precious not just human.
The trees the entire animal kingdom, which includes us (humans), every living thing is important and equaly so. Valueing on form of life over another is not a tenent I subscribe to but to each his own even when they are horribly wrong. lol.
Sure I eat some of them but I don't fault tigers for eating antelope or whatever so. . .anyway that is a whole other discussion

I don't have all the answers, but I'll take a stab at this one just for fun.
Ask God! Only God knows, so next time you pray, ask Him! Why are you asking fellow man about why God does things? As with the father of the Prodigal Son, our Father in heaven will do as He will. If you want to know, I think you should ask Him.

I've sometimes asked myself the exact same question regarding unborn babies.
After all, unborn babies are just as innocent in this world as the "doggies and kitties" are. They're also much more precious, because they're human beings.
Yet our country allows over a million and a half of them to be slaughtered every year.

did jesus not make metion that god takes notice of when a small saprow dies? i belive that was the sermine on the mount in matthew! so if god makes note of the small little animals, would he not take much more greater note 4 the humans? i think so! so shouldent your concern b 4 the people in this world more than the small animals? after all, when god flouded the earth, he than said we could eat meet! therefore animals could be killed an eaten!!! so if god would say we can eat animals, we would have 2 kill them 1st! so i dunno wutt u mean by horrible deaths, but if u just mean by killing them in general, thats my answer!

what do u mean they die a horrible death?
well if its true, then i dont know. if i did know everything God did, then i would be like God, wouldnt i?
God is the Lord and Master of all things and He has the right to do whatever He wants, but He has a reason for whatever He does or allows to happen.

They aren't suffering for something we did. Animals are souls with free will, just like us. They are responsible for their actoins (karma) and will have the opportunity to "make amends" in their next incarnation. They will eventually reincarnate as humans and have the opportunity to ascend into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Animals have intelligence and emotions and do not cease to exist. They (like us) have souls, which are eternal.

Well it is God's way of punishing us for masturbating. The poor kittens are just pawns in a big guilt machine.
